Totally had the last one myself before- running from someone I just KNOW will do something horrible if they catch me. One night I’d finally had enough, and forced myself to turn and face them… and I saw my own face. Woke up right then.

Also had plenty of times when I’ve dreamt I was fighting back against someone, and actually hit the person sleeping next to me. He was relatively unamused, and I was freaked out waking up from such dreams to hear: “Why the ____ did you just hit me?!?”

This morning I woke up from a violent nightmare by punching my bedside table at full strength. I split the skin on my hand and though I’d actually broken my hand until, after a long time being submerged in ice, I was able to start moving it again. Dreams that manifest themselves in the real world are the worst thing to experience. And this morning… I’m just happy it was the table and not one of my cats. They turned out to be blissfully asleep in the living room.

Not only does the book fascinate me (I’ve read some secrets that had me open-mouthed and wide-eyed…) but his CAREER has me hooked – the social media, the speeches, the never-stop-entrepreneurial attitude that a lot of writers have trouble with – he nails it. Love that.
Although, like you, I’d call Post Secret more “art” than just a “book”… buuut, I’d also say this is an art installation OF words, which is a true expression of awesomeness, if you ask me.
(but that’s only if you’re asking…)

I LOVE POSTSECRET. Saw Frank last year – awesome. Not so awesome? Nightmares. I’m pretty sure I don’t have night terrors. I’ve been sleeping with boys long enough to think I probably would’ve heard about it by now. But I do get some pretty random nightmares.

Like last night? Dreamt that someone mutilated my face to something akin to Two-Face in The Dark Night. Holy ugliness, Batman! Here’s the best part – I figured out who did it to me, and his wife bribed me with $10K not to do the same to him. I took the money. I guess, subconsciously, I think I’m capable of carving a face off?? Or maybe I’m just broke and could really use ten grand. I’m not sure which is the more plausible explanation.
