Darlings! All is busy here — my last full day of work today; the apartment’s half-packed; little things have been pricking me to tears all over town. I’ve also been busily writing fiction.
If you’re inclined to check it out, I have a new piece of very short flash fiction called “A Place to Store the Teeth From Dreams,” up at The Dirty Napkin. Check it out here, if you’d care to!
It might remind you of, oh gosh, way back when I used to write interesting blog posts. Like a few weeks ago?

That was beautiful.
Such powerful writing.
Checked, and truly thought provoking, not least because I’m really not sure it goes where you think it’s going when it starts, or indeed half-way through.
I’m not sure I like it as such, but better to make people think, and inspire definite reactions of some sort than to get what my High School English teacher would have catagorized as a “that’s naice” reaction (this was far from a compliment).
Ha, if anyone would read fiction I posted and respond, “Yeah, I didn’t like it,” instead of just abstaining from comment, it would, of course, be you.
I did not read “flash” fiction the first time.
I don’t know, I thought it was great!
In a few paragraphs, you had me invested in a character. I’ve watched 2 hour movies and didn’t feel a connection.
I’ll miss your blog- but wish you all the best!
Can Mom fill in for you?!
Dave, I miss you too! Dad and I are in the Artic Circle today. We are thrilled that TKOG is beastie sitting and we are all heading to C A L I F O R N I A soon. TKOG, Sister and I are natives.
I’m in the Artic Circle too!
Only because that’s the street I live on.
Have a great time in CA.
Thank you for the laughs this year :)
